Furniture Assembly Services in Arlington, TX

Arlington is always on the move, and furniture assembly in Arlington, TX is the chore that follows every move. UTA students settle into new apartments every August, families relocate for jobs across the Metroplex, and homeowners furnish new builds in Viridian and Southeast Arlington. All that moving means a lot of flat-pack boxes, hardware bags, and instructions with more pictures than words.

HouseBench does the building, so the hardware bags become our problem. Our background-checked technicians put the furniture together, set it where you want it, and anchor tip-prone pieces to the wall. You'll know the price before any work begins, completed work carries a 30-day warranty, and requests are open 24/7.

Furniture Assembly for Every Room in Your Arlington Home

One bookshelf or a houseful, we build it, whether it came from a big-box store, an Amazon or Wayfair box, or a local furniture shop.

Beds, Dressers, and Nightstands

Bed frames, platform beds, bunk beds, loft beds, dressers, nightstands, and wardrobes often have the most parts and the trickiest hardware. We build each piece square and tighten every connection.

Living and Dining Rooms

Entertainment centers, TV stands, bookcases, sectionals, coffee tables, and everything for the dining room, from tables and benches to buffets and bar stools. Glass tops and glass doors get slow, careful hands.

IKEA Furniture

IKEA's Grand Prairie store is close, so PAX, MALM, KALLAX, and HEMNES are everywhere here. We build it all, including PAX interiors. Tall PAX frames get built flat and tilted up, so we check ceiling height first, then anchor each one.

Home Office Furniture

Computer, L-shaped, and standing desks, plus chairs, filing cabinets, and bookcases. Electric standing desks get their motor and height presets tested, and the cables tidied.

Safe Furniture Setup, Leveling, and Wall Anchoring

Tip-overs are a serious risk in homes with young children. Dressers sold in the U.S. now have to include tip-restraint hardware, and most bookcases and tall cabinets include it too, but it only helps when it's installed correctly.

The Maker’s Tip-Restraint Hardware

We anchor tall pieces with the straps or brackets that come with them.

Fasteners That Suit Your Wall

Many kits leave out wall screws, because the right fastener depends on your wall. We choose ones for your wall type and go into a stud whenever possible.

Level, Then Tested

Adjustable feet or shims level each piece, and every drawer and door gets opened and closed.

Renting? Check Your Lease

Anchoring means drilling into the wall. Many Arlington apartment communities allow it, a few have rules of their own.

It depends on how many pieces there are and how complicated they are. A nightstand takes far less time than a PAX wardrobe or a loft bed, and wall anchoring, stairs, and packaging removal can change the price too. Tell us what needs building and we confirm the price before the visit.

A nightstand or small bookcase often takes under an hour. A bed frame or dresser runs one to two hours, and a loft bed or large PAX wardrobe can eat several. You get a time estimate along with your price.

No, we do that. It helps if the boxes are in or near the room where the furniture will live.

Yes. If it comes with instructions and hardware, we can almost always build it. If a piece needs electrical, plumbing, or custom modification, we'll let you know before the visit.

We count parts before building anything. If something is missing or broken, we tell you right away so you can ask the retailer for a replacement, and we assemble whatever can be safely finished.

In many cases, yes. Check your lease or ask your property manager first, since anchoring means drilling small holes in the wall. If drilling isn't allowed, we'll place the furniture as securely as possible. An unanchored tall piece still carries some tip-over risk, especially around young children.

We break the boxes down and stack the packaging in one spot for your recycling.

Requests are open 24/7, so you can send one any time, weekends included. We'll confirm the earliest available time when we call.

Yes. Tell us how many workstations you have and we'll plan the visit around your schedule.
